Our City of Lakes Waldorf School Book Fair at Wild Rumpus Books has come to a joyful close, and we are filled with gratitude for everyone who helped make this event such a success! From March 3–9, 2025, students, families, teachers, and friends of CLWS came together to celebrate the joy of reading and support our school community.
Thanks to your enthusiastic participation—shopping in-store, ordering online, and spreading the word—20% of all purchases during the week are being returned to CLWS in the form of store credit. These funds will go toward enriching our school library and classroom book collections, providing new stories and resources that will continue to inspire our students for years to come.
A heartfelt thank you to our students and families for your incredible support and excitement throughout the week. Whether you purchased a favorite story, donated a book from a teacher’s wish list, or gifted a card to your child’s classroom, you made a meaningful contribution.
We also extend our deepest appreciation to Wild Rumpus Books for being such a wonderful community partner. Their welcoming spirit, carefully curated shelves, and love for children’s literature make every visit an adventure.
The week concluded with a delightful Community Craft Event on Sunday afternoon, where families gathered to create sweet, spring-inspired crafts together. The laughter, creativity, and connection shared in that cozy corner of Wild Rumpus perfectly captured the spirit of our school and community.
