The City of Lakes Waldorf School Circus is Coming to Town!

City of Lakes Waldorf School is pleased to present its 24th Annual Circus on Friday, February 5 and Saturday, February 6 at the Woman’s Club of Minneapolis Theatre. Directed by Jason Burnstein, this year’s performances will transport audiences to a magical world where sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students perform stunning trampoline acts, acrobatics, juggling tricks, and more – including never-before-seen feats and other surprises!

About the Circus Program at City of Lakes Waldorf School
Instruction in circus arts has been proven to build physical, cognitive, emotional, and social capacity. The Circus Arts program at City of Lakes Waldorf School has been a proud part of our curriculum for 24 years. Lloyd Brant and Rosie Cole, well-known theater professionals and skilled artists, founded the program in 1992. Together, they fulfilled a dream of bringing circus arts to young people. After 19 years of leading the circus, they handed over the “golden clubs” to Jason Burnstein in 2012 and are pleased to see their dream continue.
