City of Lakes Waldorf School in collaboration with Hup (clap) HEY! is pleased to present its 33rd Annual Circus, The Marble Palace, on Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Performed by CLWS students in grades 6–8, The Marble Palace is a high-energy circus performance celebrating 100 years of entertainment at the historic Music Box Theatre in Minneapolis. Set within the theatre itself, the show takes audiences on a journey through its rich history:
Finklestein and Ruben have been dead for over 80 years, yet still they haunt the historic Music Box Theater that they opened in 1920. This spirited circus spectacular is a hilarious homage to vaudeville and the 100 years of variety, laughter, and skill that have graced the stage. Come witness a century of talent from incredible juggling to impressive tumbling and boisterous bumbling as Finkelstein and Ruben take you on a flip-flapping, toe-tapping journey through the eras.
Based on a true story (mostly).
Performances:
Friday, April 24, 7:00 pm
Saturday, April 25, 1:00 pm
Saturday, April 25, 7:00 pm
