October Visiting Day

Discover what a typical school morning feels like at City of Lakes Waldorf School. During our Visiting Day, prospective families are invited to spend time on campus, observe live classrooms, and see how a Waldorf education unfolds across the grades. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, meet teachers and administrators, and talk through our approach with our community. We look forward to welcoming you for a meaningful and informative visit.

What to Expect

8:45 AM – Welcome & Introduction
Prospective families are welcomed by our Admissions Director and Pedagogical Chair, who will share an overview of the morning and introduce the foundations of a City of Lakes Waldorf education.

9:00 – 9:55 AM – Classroom Visits
Families will divide into small groups, guided by our Admissions team, for live classroom observations across the Grades program. Guests will step inside classrooms spanning the lower and upper grades to see the full arc of a Waldorf education.

10:00 – 10:25 AM – Reflection, Questions & Conversation
All families gather together for a relaxed discussion over light snacks, tea, and coffee — a chance to reflect on what you observed, ask questions about curriculum and teaching methods, and connect directly with faculty, staff, and the wider CLWS community.

Please email Liza Brandt, at admissions@clws.org if you have any questions.
