Volunteer

Volunteers are an essential part of life at City of Lakes Waldorf School
We invite every family to consider how they might share their gifts with the school. Volunteering is personally rewarding and provides you with an opportunity to participate in your child(ren)’s education and build connections within the community. Whether you prefer chaperoning a sledding outing, covering a shift in the School Store, volunteering for events, or serving on a school committee, there is a place for you!

About the Parent Association
Every parent at City of Lakes Waldorf School is considered a member of the Parent Association (PA). The role of the PA is to support the community as a whole, serving as a link between family and school life. The Parent Association warmly embraces and encourages all parents to actively participate in the rich community life of our school. Parent-led activities may include: community building, parent education, parenting discussions, fundraising, parent handwork, volunteering and supporting the students, faculty, board, and administration.

“My most meaningful experiences and most heartfelt connections at CLWS happened when I was asked to participate in some way. This would add to my “busy-ness” but was always more than worth it.”
