City of Lakes Waldorf School Circus

2020 City of Lakes Waldorf School Circus Presents: Cirquencia!

Come one, come all! We invite you to play the high-stakes game of “Cirquencia”—a circus board game where one must accomplish many dangerous, daring, and seemingly impossible feats in order to move ahead and save the day. Throw in a giant yeti, a spiritual medium, an archaeologist, some classic board games, and a tunafish sandwich and we have one show you don’t want to miss! Come see juggling, unicycling, stilt-walking, acrobatics and more in our stunning new venue. Adventure awaits…if you dare to play!

Friday, February 7, 7:00 pm SOLD OUT!
Saturday, February 8, 1:00 pm SOLD OUT!

Celebrating 28 Years of Circus Arts at City of Lakes Waldorf School

Instruction in circus arts has been proven to build physical, cognitive, emotional, and social capacity. The Circus Arts program at City of Lakes Waldorf School has been a proud part of our curriculum for 28 years. Lloyd Brant and Rosie Cole founded the program in 1992 and handed over the “golden clubs” to Jason Burnstein in 2012. Mr. Burnstein brings a rich and varied background in theater, circus arts, and movement to our students and the program has flourished under his talent and care. This year marks the 8th circus that Mr. Burnstein has directed and the 6th completely original circus theme to hit our stage.
