City of Lakes Waldorf School is pleased to present its 30th Annual Circus on Friday, March 24 and Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the historic Music Box Theatre in Minneapolis. This delightful, family-friendly show features stunning acrobatics, juggling tricks, trampoline acts, and more—all performed by our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students!

Our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students invite you to to take a glimpse into the fantastic world that lies behind a little gnome’s door with the 30th annual City of Lakes Waldorf School CIRCUS!!! Experience an unforgettable journey through mysterious realms full of gnomes and fairies, unicorns and dragons, and other magical beings both small and large. Come witness exciting displays of juggling, tumbling, balancing, and more with breathtaking costumes and our very own CLWS faculty band. Won’t you walk with us through the Door to Ganomia?

Online ticket sales have now closed. Friday evening and Saturday afternoon are SOLD OUT. We have a handful of tickets available for our Saturday evening show; available at the door first-come, first-served. If you’d like to be added to the waiting list for a show, please fill out this form.
Additional Info:
- Advance tickets are online only. Please note that online ticket sales will close on Thursday, March 23, at 10:00 pm.
- We encourage you to order your tickets early. All three Circus performances typically sell out!
- Our live band (featuring CLWS faculty and one alumni parent) is rockin’, and the acoustics in the Music Box Theatre are strong! Families with small children may want to consider bringing hearing protection.
- Concessions will be available for sale before the show and at intermission.
- House doors open approximately 15 minutes prior to showtime.
Parking at the Music Box Theatre
The Music Box Theatre is located at 1407 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55407. Parking can be found along the street, in a metered lot at 15th & Nicollet, or via the Hyatt-Loring parking ramp (1330 Nicollet Ave). Buses 17, 18, 10, 11, and 30 all run to the venue. Families are also encouraged to carpool!
