We have a very special update to share regarding the 3rd and 4th grade food drive held earlier in the school year. This joint donation drive collected over 400 pounds of food for the Simpson Food Pantry! Thank you to the many parents and families who donated items and supported our students in their dedication to this important project.
Additionally, the 4th grade class decided to donate all of their cookbook proceeds from last year – totaling $382 – to the Simpson Food Pantry. The director of the Food Pantry recently wrote a letter to their “Fourth Grade Friends” thanking them for their help and generosity. To read the full letter, please click here.
On a related note, we’d also like to thank everyone who has donated cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products for the 7th grade donation drive, benefiting St. Stephen’s Homeless Shelter.
