Community Weaving Project

Community Weaving Project

Calling all parent and student handworkers of all abilities! Join us in creating a Community Weaving, made with funky threads and lots of love. This will be a group effort, with each participant having a hand at weaving part of this unique piece. The finished weaving will be auctioned off at the Community Talent Night and Art Auction on March 9.

The loom is now up and running in the School Store! Heartfelt thanks to alumni parent Laura McCullough for getting everything set up and to Steven Be for donating all of the yarn. Students and parents are welcome to add their personal touch to this piece and watch as it grows, lovingly woven with hands large and small.

If you’re interested in taking part, please email Jen Buck at schoolstore@clws.org. Work will continue until the weaving is complete.
