Welcome, new and returning families! We have a variety of events coming up to welcome everyone to the 2017-18 school year.
Orientation Sessions @ CLWS
Early Childhood Orientation | Tuesday, August 22, 5:30 – 7:00 pm
Have the opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher and connect with other families in your child’s classroom community. Parents will sample a small part of the school day and receive important information about the upcoming school year. At least one parent from each family, both new and returning, is requested to attend. Adults only, please.
New Family Orientation (Early Childhood and Grades) | Tuesday, August 22, 7:00 – 8:00 pm
All new parents are encouraged to attend our New Family Orientation, covering everything from school governance to parking. You will have the opportunity to meet our school’s administrative staff and members of the school’s faculty, Board of Trustees, and Parent Association. At least one parent from each family is requested to attend. Adults only, please.
All-School Back to School Picnic @ Lake Harriet

All members of our school community are invited to our Back-to-School Picnic! Gather with other City of Lakes Waldorf School families as we join together to celebrate the start of a new school year. Please bring a nut-free potluck item to share, your own plates, cutlery and beverages. Instruments and lawn games are welcome, too. See you there!

Have a picnic with your class before the school year starts! Class picnics give teachers a chance to welcome everyone and provide the children with an opportunity to play with their new classmates before the first day of school. Bring your own meal, utensils, and blanket. Ms. Anna and Ms. Anette will bring a watermelon to share! In case of rain, please stay tuned for cancellation information.
